simultaneous reading over the weekend + a return to Skyrim
The past weekend was a good one. I had read quite a bit and had time to play Skyrim (yes, I know, I have 500+ hours on the game and the Switch had stopped counting). I read broadly this weekend. I think.
The list:
- Perfume: The Story of a Murderer - Patrick Süskind
- One Hundred Years of Solitude - Gabriel García Márquez
- 《絕叫》- 葉真中顯
I would have added Katabasis and The Outsider but I was stretched a bit too thin.
In Skyrim I managed to finish the Alduin quest which was nice. I have been delaying anything Solstheim related because I honestly DETEST the sandy environment. I also managed to collect 11 out of 24 of the Stones of Barenziah. Yeah that quest is a fucking pain every single time. That house in Solitude had one, which I had to pay 25,000 gold for.
Have decided that for weekday nights I can set aside 1 hour to do small quests and small caves. Next weekend I might start on the Solstheim quests because I would really like to get the Black Books especially the one that would allow me to avoid damage to my follower (J'Zargo of course, he is the only one who can level with me with no cap). And also the Daedric butler + the Daedric merchant who can sell me better gear.
I think I am beginning to give up on increasing Smithing skill. The Alchemy skill is even worse, why can't reading a recipe just add to my list of potions/poisons?
Anyway, time for lunch.
